Rabisin
Rabisin is an inactivated vaccine against rabies. "Merial", a French company manufactures it. It is available in the form of clear colorless injection. It is in suspension form. Adjuvant used in this vaccine is aluminium hydroxide. Immunity is established 30 days after the administration of the vaccine subcutaneously. Price of rabisin vaccine in Pakistan in Rs. 180 per ml.

Canvac
Canvac is manufactured by a Denmark company 'Dyntac'. Canvac contains attenuated viruses. It is useful not only against rabies but also protects from canine distemper, infectious hepatitis, infectious laryngeotracheitis, parvo virus infection and parainfluenza in dogs. Price of this vaccine in Pakistan is Rs. 137 per ml.
Biocan
Biocan is made by Bioveta. Like other two vaccines discussed earlier, Biocan is also administered subcut. Biocan NOVEL has different varieties of vaccines which are effective against rabies, CPV, CDV, CAV and others. Dose to be administered is 1 ml. Price of this vaccine is Rs. 125 per ml.
