How do people treat veterinarians in Pakistan?

The role of a veterinarian should be appreciated. Veterinarians are getting appreciated all over in the world through their untiringly hard work but we see the entirely opposite environment here in our country.

In Pakistan, veterinarians are not treated well specially in Sindh and almost take for granted. Why our aboriginal people, don't remunerate a vet with respect but look them with shameful eye. As a matter of fact, this is the man, who looks after those creature of Almighty Allah that cannot speak and express their sad situation they are going through and cure those who cannot tell their problems. Livestock sector generates considerable portion of our country's GDP about 11.7% more than that of the agriculture. Do you know and again and again veterinarians are rolling under  great hurdles and put up with many obstacles. We are out of limit to be able to realize the importance of their work and service.

The world is again moving to the previous concept of:-

("One health, One medicine.")

And still we people are proclaiming that we are a civilized nation. Does we actually know the real meaning of civilization? Actually we are so far back from the word civilization.

In world's developed countries, their people have an intense crave for getting involved in veterinary science as their top position holders have a strong penchant and predilection for DVM.

In Pakistan, if someone got admission in that field they are supposed to be seen as a lower field man. Even though their own family members disrespect them and calling them " Dangar doctor ".

Vets have keen interest and knowledge to cope with the current pandemic situation of COVID-19 because it is of zoonotic nature. Vet controls so many deadly diseases of zoonotic nature which are transmitted between animals and humans e.g Rabies, Anthrax, Leptospirosis, Brucellosis etc.

Kindly be a civilized nation and prove that you are well educated and most crucially civilised who respect every man of his country regardless of which family he belongs to. We ought to appreciate them at high level so that they may put their best with high enthusiasm. We need each other. Doing so, respect is on the top priority. No one is worthless even a sweeper. You can envision the day, when no sweeper comes in your area.
