Is "Taste of The Wild" a good feed for the dogs?

Among many other feeds available nowadays in the market commercially, 'Taste of the Wild' is a famous brand for canine feeds. People around the globe are using it with their full confidence in the brand. But there are those who complain regularly about this feed brand.
Before I continue, let me make one thing clear that this article is based solely upon the opinion of the pet owners who used this feed for their dogs. Their opinions are analysed in unbiased way to give it the form of a comprehensive article in order to explain pros and cons of the mentioned feed to the readers in a simple way. The writer can not be held responsible for the information contained here because of the said reason.
Lets come to the point, as I already said the brand being famous worldwide is used by a large number of pet owners. The most common problem observed by the pet owners about the use of this feed is DCM (Dilated Cardiomyopathy). People believe that use of this feed led to DCM in their dogs, the condition in which the heart becomes enlarged and doesn't function properly. It makes sense as the mentioned brand contains fairly large amount of legumes in its formula. A former faculty member from University of Wisconsin Madison relates its use to loose stool in his puppy. Some pet owners also noticed presence of bugs in the feed, photographs of which are provided in this article.

Here are a few alternatives for your pet if your experience with 'Taste of the Wild' has not been so good as many of other fellows. Alternative brands with good reputation include Farmina, Royal Canin, Proplan, Hills and Victor Multipro.
But if you haven't tried 'Taste of the Wild' yet, building an opinion solely based upon the information provided above is useless because there are plenty of the people who still rate this feed as 5 stars. They have been using it for years and haven't faced the problems mentioned above with their dogs. They believe that the feed is not the only cause for DCM in dogs.
